Delta County, TX — On the night of October 25, 2025, a Wolfe City woman was arrested by Delta County authorities for her second Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) offense.

Jennifer Bryant, 30, was taken into custody after deputies with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic stop on Highway 24 at County Road 2005. Deputies reported that Bryant showed multiple signs of intoxication including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and balance issues. She also reportedly refused to comply with standard field sobriety tests (SFSTs).

According to the affidavit, Deputy Hutchings and Sgt. Rose conducted the arrest after Bryant was found behind the wheel of a vehicle during a routine traffic stop. She refused a breathalyzer, prompting deputies to secure a warrant for a mandatory blood draw. EMTs later collected the sample after Bryant was booked.

Bryant was charged with DWI – 2nd Offense and has since been released on bond.

The Ford truck involved was impounded by Benson Brothers Wrecker Service. No injuries were reported during the incident.
