Man Wanted in Shooting of Jacksonville Officer Added to Texas DPS Most Wanted List

Jacksonville, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Bobby Michael Dennis, 64, to its 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List in connection with the shooting of a Jacksonville police officer and K-9.

According to DPS, Dennis is wanted for his alleged role in a violent attack that left a Jacksonville police officer and a K-9 injured. Authorities warn he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Dennis is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9″ tall and weighing roughly 152 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Officials urge the public not to attempt to approach or apprehend him personally.
