Caddo Mills Police Arrest Suspect After Search Warrant Uncovers THC Vapes & Psilocybin Mushrooms
Caddo Mills, TX – A joint investigation between the Caddo Mills Police Department and Caddo Mills ISD Police has led to the arrest of a local man and the seizure of THC vape products and suspected psilocybin mushrooms.
According to Caddo Mills Police, the investigation began after Caddo Mills ISD Police received information about a subject believed to be selling THC vape products. The information was forwarded to Detective M. Robles with the Caddo Mills Police Department, who opened a narcotics investigation into the allegations.
On December 11, 2025, officers with Caddo Mills PD and Caddo Mills ISD Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Longhorn Pass in Caddo Mills. During the search, investigators reported locating multiple THC vape products along with psilocybin mushrooms, a hallucinogenic controlled substance.
The suspect, identified as Nolan Thrasher-Heard, was taken into custody at the scene. Thrasher-Heard is facing the following charges:
- Manufacture/Delivery of THC Vapes – 1st Degree Felony
- Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms – 1st Degree Felony
Caddo Mills Police Chief Kimbre Collier commended the cooperative effort between Caddo Mills PD and Caddo Mills ISD Police, noting that the partnership is vital in keeping dangerous narcotics away from students and families in the community.
Authorities say both agencies will continue to work together to identify and investigate drug activity in and around Caddo Mills, with the goal of removing illegal substances from local neighborhoods.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
