

UPDATE: REWARD INCREASED.
On April 4th, 2019 Hunt County Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for the murder of Heather Pope on August 3rd, 2010.
In the following days Carla Pope, Heathers mother, reached out and inquired about increasing the reward amount if monies were donated to Hunt County Crime Stoppers. The process was explained and on April 26th, 2019 Carla and Randall Pope met with Sgt. Jeff Haines, law enforcement coordinator for Hunt County Crime Stoppers.
Randall and Carla Pope stated they raised a total of $8500.00 to add to the reward. This increases the reward up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for the murder of Heather Pope. This reward is effective immediately.
