Fatality Accident Being Reported On Interstate 30 Near Lamar Street Sunday Afternoon

Hunt County EMS & Greenville Fire units responded to the area of Interstate 30 near the Lamar Street exit Sunday afternoon for reports of a motor vehicle accident.

Hunt County EMS units were enroute to the scene when they were advised of CPR in progress. Units arrived on the scene finding 2 vehicles involved, moderate to major damage.

Hunt County EMS units have since cleared, advising this will be a fatality accident.

Greenville Fire will remain on scene assisting Greenville PD & DPS with traffic control as they investigate the accident.
