The suspect in Tuesdays pursuit which ended in a wreck on FM 1564 near Highway 69 has been identified by jail records.
Tuesday DPS Officers called out over the radio that they were in pursuit in the area of FM 1564 just outside of the Greenville area. The suspect who has been identified as JAMES GERALD TENNANT has been booked into the Hunt County Detention Center on charges of:
- EVADING ARREST DET W/PREV CONVICTION
- POSS CS PG 1 <1G
- UNL POSS FIREARM BY FELON
- UNL RESTRAINT EXPOSE TO SBI
- POSS MARIJ <2OZ
- POSS CS PG 2-A <= 2OZ
- DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
The suspect led Troopers on a chase which eventually ended in a wreck on FM 1564 just before Highway 69. No injuries were reported, Tennant was taken into custody without further incident.
